My Sylvania mp3/video player wont play videos

Hello i am having a problem with this device that i got via christmas day. The device plays all my selected music downloads with no problems.....and videos. Well it allows me to download a selected video to it, but when i attempt to play the video it says "file format error". What do i do? Should i try to format the device and if possible how do i do so? Also it supports 4GB of memory

hi i'm havingthis exact same problem! i got this for my birthday and i cant find how to get it to work
