My video card fan whirrs

My video fan Whirrs and it sounds like it is have a bit of difficulty.

The video card spec are as follows:

Type: Plug-in card

Graphics Processor / Vendor: ATI Radeon 9600 XT

Installed Size: 128 MB

Digital Video Standard: Digital Visual Interface (DVI)

My computer is made from Sony (Vaio) and its model name is PCV-RZ504

I have had it now for three years i think, does most video card fans wear out after this period of time?

The fan might need cleaning, The dust on it can cause this, Also make sure no wires are hitting it, gl,
