Hi Team!
I have a Win XPpro (w/SP2) system on which Norton Antivirus-Corporate Edition (v7.61) continues to run nicely. (NAV-ce program and systray icons work normally, as does LiveUpdate.)
During June-July (when I was away), a Windows Update was performed. The system (Windows Security Console) then started reporting a problem with no AV. This was resolved by (again) telling the Console not to check for AV.
Now when I go into Add/Remove to uninstall NAV-ce (it is no longer supported), there is no entry in the Add/Remove list.
How do Add/Remove entries get "lost"?
The only ~significant event I am aware of while I was gone is the Windows Update. Would an update-gone-wrong have erased the Add/Remove entry?
Any help appreciated,
Thanks, qdv
