So I am buying a gaming laptop to replace this "old", overheating, HP Pavilion dv5 1153eo.
I have roughly $1300 to play around with.
I mostly play games like World of Warcraft (serious gaming), Call of Duty, and other FPS games (not that serious), I have been looking a little at this one:
MSI GT660-473NE
2.53GhZ Intel Core i5-460M (Quadcore)
4096MB DDR3 RAM
HDD: 500GB / 7200 RPM
15.6 inch monitor
1366 x 768 resolution
nVidia GeForce GTX 285M, 1024 MB dedicated memory
Windows 7 Home Premium
A friend of mine's got it, and it seems promising, but there's always some better deal out there, you know, but which ones are there?
I don't really require that much of it, something along those lines:
Price at 1300$ maximum.
The ability to play WoW on all Ultra / High settings. (A tad inaccurate, of course you can't know exactly what it takes to do this, but yeah, roughly!)
Windows 7
And at least 15.6 inch monitor. (17 preferred)
And that is really all.
So if you know any good system that meets those requirements, I'll be happy to hear from you!
I just registered, and I consider myself a techy guy, but perhaps I can learn a thing or two here at TechSpot.
I hope you can help me out on this one. ^^
