    Hi Andres,
depending on what you want to pay for a cpu, and motherboard compatibility, i would recommend the X2 550, X3 720 if you are looking in the $100 range. I have a X3 720 and it is holding down three HD 4850's with no problem at all. (here are some screens with frame rates) http://www.techspot.com/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/193667
depending on the motherboard you have or plan to get there is the possibility of unlocking the dormant cores, and both are very good overclockers if you are so inclined. if you can spend the additional $20 or so, go with the X3 720 for its third core and 6Mb of L3 cache. if you are looking more in the upper range of AMD line, the X4 940 would be a nice choice as well.

I'd say then that the Phenom II X4 955 BE would be better at just $15 more. :)

I mentioned the X4 955 as I figured it is an AM3 processor whereas the X4 940 is not. :D
