Need help with lag

i'm playing Silkroad Online and every day now for the past week i've started lagging at around 6 pm GMT time and it's gradually gotten worse to the point where i can't play the game
i don't know what the specs of my computer are
i've been playing for 2 months already without experiencing any lag and i haven't got a clue why i'm suddenly lagging really bad but it's getting very frustrating

Are you on Comcast or Qwest... their slowdowns at that time of day are typical... and ordinary.
