   I have a Dell OptiPlex GX 270 with a DVD player on it an I noticed it only reads DVD-R and not DVD+R. Is there a problem here and is there any way or form I can correct this? Thanks...

   Your drive was probably made before dual format drives came out.

   You are probably SOL, but not to worry, if you have $15 or so you can probably buy a drive that will read them. And for less than $40 you can get a drive that will read and write them.
