Need help with my DVD player...

    I have a Dell OptiPlex GX270 and it only plays DVD-R and not DVD+R. Is there a way to be able to play DVD+Rs or is that the way it is?

    A little more info would be helpful. what is the DVD Device on the machine? is it a DVD rom or a DVD Burner? what is the make and how old is it? if it is an older DVD that doesnt support ht eDVD+R format then the only way you are going to get to play DVD+R is if the DVD+R are burned on a DVD Burner that supports bitsetting of DVD+R to appear as DVD ROM media.
