  1. replaced intel mobo/pcu and i am using gigabyte amd mobo/pcu now. was able to boot in safe mode and reinstall new drivers, but i kept getting stuck in a boot loop. xp has been unistalled. at win startup i have the option to choose to install into partition1 (NTFS) or unpartitioned space. i also have the option to delete the partition. do i want to delete the partition before install? if i do will i have to reinstall all other programs (i.e winamp, pc games). whats the next step i should take? thx

You should delete the partition, do a full format, and yes you will need to reinstall everything you had on the PC originally...
