New Member...hello to everyone.
In the process of building two new Shuttle boxes and I've encountered a problem
I've been going crazy over for three days.

Shuttle SN68SG2/Phoenix Award BIOS/AMD Athlon/Windows XP HomeSp3/500Gb Seagate SATA.
Windows appears to have installed okay but every time I boot I get:
Boot from CD:
NVidia Boot Agent 246.0540
CopyRight NVidia Corp 1998-2004 etc.
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting NVidia Boot Agent.
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

HOWEVER if I hit "RESET" on the box it boots into Windows every time.
I've tried numerous BIOS changes with no luck...I even thought the problem
could be caused by the known Seagate Barracuda problem so I installed a WD
500Gb SATA but get the same result. Any ideas??

Just a quick stab in the dark. Have you double checked your HDD is connected to the first SATA port?
Set boot priority to HDD as first choice.
As a rule once my pc is up and running I dissable boot from CD unless needed as it slows the boot up proccess.
