Need Info on the Chromium Browser?

I was reading about the Chromium browser can anyone tell me more about it,is it better than Firefox 3,6 and Internet Explorer 8 as far as speed and cpu usage.and any other comparisons to the other browsers? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Most people will want Chrome (the official relase from Google). Chromium is the open source development build that is not intended for the 'general public'.

You'll also need to update your information. As of a few weeks ago, Firefox 4.0 and Internet Explorer 9.0 came out.

These are generatlizations, but people like Chrome because it is fast, simple and most certainly the most secure browser. People like Firefox because it is highly customizable and feature filled. People might like Internet Explorer 9 because.. well, a mix of those reasons I suppose. Not sure how IE9 is on security, but I imagine it's pretty good these days.

Regardless of what browser you use, I believe you'll be fine.
