Need Input Concerning this Laptop

  1. Long story short. I need to replace a church's now defunct PC (old as it ran a Pentium Willamette with an ATI 9000 video card; yeah old) that was used strictly for DVD (data and music), video streaming, vga projector, mpegs, jpegs, and Power Point.

This system will not be moved, will only be used for a few hours per week, no gaming, no Office work, just strickly multimedia.

    * Thus the main concern is to find a system that can run all of the above. Budget is tight.

    Will the following meet the need: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP - Pavilion 17.3" Laptop - 4GB Memory - 750GB Hard Drive - Sparkling Black/9226052.p?id=1219004831295&skuId=9226052

Yes, it does have a VGA port.

No problem. An AMD CPU is probably the best for multimedia purposes due to the superior integrated graphics.

Just as a follow-up the laptop arrived in good shape and it runs everything we throw at it flawlessly.
