    That just makes things more complicated to my simple way of thinking.

    Anyway, it's possible to boot from a CD but I've never done it in the way you mean so someone more knowledgeable than I will have to tell you. That would be just about anyone else.

    Ok, hard-drive is reformated. Thankfully my mom was going to the city today, so hopfully she will find a reasonable priced copy. (Walmart wanted $200 online!) Thanks again and hopfully I won't cause any more problems. :(
