Need some advice

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone could give a good advice on what CPU i should buy. Currently, im looking at Intel. So i wana start by asking which is better, an Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 or an Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 or an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700. Thanks a bunch for the advice =)

go to tomshardware.com, read the reviews and comparison charts. Also go to computershopper.com and read the reviews there also. Only you can determine your needs and budget. There's a CPU for every budget. You get what you pay for.

Hi Tedster. Thanks for the reply. I tried looking around but I think im pretty bad at such things. Im just wondering which of the 3 CPUs are more worth it now. and whether a top notch dual core is better than the core 2 extreme which uses multi-core.
