Need some help with removing, about:blank

    Hi, i downloaded a Megaupload toolbar and with it i seemed to get the about:blank virus. Basically,

    When i first start up my browser (Firewox) it comes first starts up, then in the address bar it says about:blank, they opend up about 49 browser windows and i have to cancel all of them and leave 1 to use it.. Does anyone know how to remove it? I'd be very greatful..

    SuperJ, please favor us with your edit to your first post in this thrread.

    Remove the text of the HJT log. Post the entire log as an attachment. All this text makes it more difficult to conduct meaningful searches.

    HJT Scan; tick then fix

    i changed my hjt file to an attachment. Sorry about that.
    Anyway,

    I deleted what you said, and its stil there. I'll follow your step by step link now and hope it helps.
