Hey, i recently bought a new computer and installed windows XP on it...

everything worked fine for about 2days. Then all of a sudden my computer re-booted, then everytime it trys to load back up it jus re-boots. The furthest i've been is the signing in screen.

It flashes a blue screen and re-starts, on the screen is a load of jiber, jabber...but it did say to note:

    *** STOP 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x80818B66, 0xF78EEA60, 0xF78EE75c)

    - Has anyone ever come accorss this problem?
    - Does anybody know how to fix it?
    - Is it hardware or a software fault?

if you had a hardware error, you would experience BIOS beeps or even a NO POST.
STOP errors can be caused by a variety of things.
