Need to extract Office product key

This PC is unbootable, even in safe mode. I want to rebuild Windows XP and Office 2003 Prof.
I have both CDs but not the original ones. The Windows XP Product key is on a sticker on the side. However I want to extract the product key from the registry. I have a bootable XP CD with a registry browser that lets me specify the Windows folder to use, so I can point it to the original hard drive and display the registry.
However the only product key extract program I have extracts only from the running registry, ie from the bootable CD.
Do you know of a product key extraction program that allows browsing to the Windows folder holding the registry files?
If not, can you tell me how to extract the Office product key from the registry manually?
