I tried to upgrade to the ati 9600xt...I installed the card and now my video display will not come on...I hear 1 long beep and 2 short beeps, so it seems to be the video card...I reinstalled the old card and same thing happens...any suggestion...I can't even get into bios

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Please would you fill in your system specs in my.TS.forum at the top of the page(click on edit profile).

Try clearing you cmos your mobo book will tell you how to do this.

Or you could take out the cmos battery being careful only to hold it by it`s edges not top and bottom.

Leave it out for a minute or so then reinsert it and reboot.
