  1. I have home network with two PCs, one running win 7 and the other running win xp, we share files and so forth normal network stuff and also the same modem, but recently the Pc running win 7 wont connect to the internet while there is internet access on the win xp,normally I would just disable the LAN adapter and it would work nut after we shut down it comes back with the same problem and upon disabling it doesn't work anymore.

    What type of network adapter do you have in the Windows 7 PC?

    (Brand, etc.)

    this sounds like you're using a WiFi connection. Describe each box used in your network;
    1. Modem Make/Model
    2. Router Make/Model
    3. find & report the WiFi device on the Win/7 system

    No am using a wired network but the model is a dual support it has both LAN and WAN, I use a rj45 cable (as you would know) to connect each PC to the modem and others around would use wifi if needed. The drivers on the win 7 are fine
    Modem details are as follows:
    CPE modem (4g broadband)
    I. WI-Fi Modem
