Notebook unable to recognize wifi network.

Tried all the usually things, updating drivers, flushing. Seems like the Zero config is missing though, strange.

This is my unit:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
Other OS Description Not Available
OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation
System Manufacturer Hewlett-Packard
System Model HP ENVY 4 Notebook PC
System Type x64-based PC
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2377M CPU @ 1.50GHz, 1500 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Insyde F.0B, 5/23/2012
SMBIOS Version 2.7

Any suggestions?

Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7 as from January 2020

Is the hardware switch for WiFi enabled? I think it is fn key and F12 but check your keyboard to be sure.

I ran all updates and downloaded the Intel Pro driver, nothing. Next attempt is to buy Killer WiFi 6 AX1650 and install driver, worth a shot. I really love this unit.

Oh, yeah, wifi in enabled on the keyboard. Just baffled cause I didn't make and changes. I have this unit connect to a TV in my office so I only use for internet.

Now click on the Driver tab and choose Update Driver.
don't bother -- it just reloads via MS Update and it seldom finds anything useful.

Go to the vender website and check for the latest firmware driver and download that version.

delete and uninstall the current driver
reinstall the version you downloaded
reboot
