New builder and no video - I know this is old!

I know all of you guys are prolly tired of the sameold problem, but I have tried everything and I don't know what I am doing wrong.

First the specs:
Gigabyte GA-7NNXP MB
AMD 3200XP
1 GB Kingston RAM
ATI Radeon ALL-in wonder video card

I have swapped the video card, the processor and the ram.
I am running the system on the bench to test.
I have reset the battery on the cpu.
I still have no %&#Q(! video!

The only thing I have swapped out is the MB but it seems so unlikely that this is the problem. I don't want to have to give up and give all of my components to someone else to put together! This was supposed to be fun and challenging but I have been stuck at this point FOREVER.
Anyhelp would be appreciated.

lol, have the EXACT same setup only other videocard.

If your fans are turning &only no video, reset your cmos by taking battery out, and shorting the battery contacts with a metal object for at least 10 seconds.

also try switching the lil switch in the middle of the mobo (auto/on).

Okay, did that and still nothing.

when i short the battery, do I use two different metal objects? or one metalobject to both posts?

I can't believe I am stuck at the most basic level!

shorting: use one metal electrical conductive object to connect the + and - posts for the battery.

plz report back at how you're doing.
