New Folder in C:

  1. Well just this thursday i recived this file in my C:


    Does any one know what it is?

    How do i add its contents?

    like it just poped in it says it got modified thursday but was never there which means thats when i got it and i changed notin

    That sounds a little suspicious to me.

    Go HERE and follow the instructions for posting a HJT log. I`ll take a look and advise.

    I got one that says ee1c48e0ad20446268ee52f52c2c54 its just a "unique" file that is created by M$$$ updater.

    Nothing to worry about other then the update its self. lol

    At first thats what i thought it was but i was unsure. TY now can i make a new folder and then put them in there cuz i have like 4 of them already and i dont want bunch of folders all up in there so is that possilbe? like C:/MSupdate/ee1c48e0ad20446268ee52f52c2c54 or whatever i put in therE?

    Do you have Azureus installed? I switched back to it from uTorrent last week. I save my torrents to E:\ and I have a few that are named similarly, but end in .tmp I believe, they are just files related to the torrent and Azureus.

    Why don't you just create a new folder and name it something like Updates or whatever you want and then drag these folders into the one you just created, if that's all you want to do.
