New media PC case problems

Hi guys, I have just changed my desktop pc case to a opera media case, everything seems to run well accept, my DVD writer, when I check my computer it now shows the DVD writer as a cd, where it used to show it has a DVD writer with it's samsung name, and now it won't recognise my dvd's, also my second he'd is not showing in my list of drives, but on start up it's listed as the SATA 2 drive ?, anyone can help please, thanks in advance.
