New monitor required, is DVI noticably better than d-sub?

I am looking at getting a new 17"TFT/LCD but am on a budget of £200 (UK). I can get loads for £150, but without DVI input. What I need to know is, is it worth spending the extra on a unit with DVI, or is D-Sub adequate? (I only occasionally play games). :blackeye: :knock:

On a cheap monitor/graphics card, it is possible that the analogue input (D-Sub) will produce slightly inferior image quality to the digital input (DVI). With decent quality components, you won't be able to tell the difference. If you are on a budget, then you should search google for any reviews on the monitors you are considering.
