    Hi I recently bought a Compaq evo n600c notebook running xp pro I had to reinstall the os so I got hold of the restore disks for xp for this notebook but when I was installing xp and it asked for the sn and I put the one that was on the sticker ont the bottom of the computer, it came back with not a valid number?

    Can anyone help?
