Hello. I successfully built a new computer which was my first build, and it was working. It booted many many times with success. Though, I just received a problem.

I turned my computer on, it booted up and loaded up windows. Then it crashed and I received a long beep.

I believe it's the RAM but I want to make sure cause I don't want to damage it.

I took out the Ram, and Graphics card (as I have read that it could even be that) and reinserted. It booted up this time.

If it happens again, I might go to a PC Repair store and tell them see what they think.

What do you think was or is the problem?

Booted it first time today after it actually working yesterday. It did that long continuous beep. Which is strange, it was in the exact same spot.

I turned it off, and turned it back on. It never happened? WHAT THE HELL?

    I need some help please.

I found the guide. My bios is AMI. So here is what it says on your guide.

1 long - POST [Power On Self Test]- has passed all tests.

This long beep doesn't ever stop. I have to reboot the computer in order for it to go away for the day so far. How can I stop it from happening? From your smiley, I'm guessing it's a good beep but still, rather annoying.

    Thanks.
