New PC build - Compatability?

Hi!
I'm building a new PC and was wondering if:
1/ The components were compatible
2/ If there is anything i should change for the better considering i multi-task a lot and would like to play the latest games.

Here are the important specs:
Thermaltake Soprano DX Case
Thermaltake Tough Power 600W Power Supply
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (Or Core 2 Duo E6600?)
2x Western Digital 320GB Hard Disk
Corsair DDR2 Twin2X (2048MB Kit) 240-pin DDR2 XMS2-6400
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 Motherboard
Gigabyte GF8600GTS 256MB Graphics Card

You should run your potential ram through the "Corsair configurator". Go to the Corsair website. You want their 'seal of approval'. If you don't get a quad core Q6600, get an E6750 or E6850. Check those out. This stuff will work together all day long. Think about and research your best cooling options. Check the reviews. Have Fun.
