hey there, i am new here and wanted to ask a question, i am new to the whole computer building thing but i have my dad's old computer, a packard bell imedia 5061 with 512mb RAM, and i was wondering if i could take out the 2 RAM modules and replace them with maybe 1gb modules??? if so can you recommend any that i should use or can i use any as long as they are both the same. also would the processor make any difference to what i put in?????

thanks in advance for all the help.

According to Crucial it can be upgraded to a maximum of 1GB (2x 512MB). It does not matter which CPU you have in the system as long as the memory you purchase is compatible with the system (Crucial recommends PC2700 DDR ram).
