Expect that little windows update reminder thingy to start bugging you again soon, when Microsoft releases the next round of IE updates.

"Microsoft officials say the company is prepping a patch for its Internet Explorer browser to plug the vulnerability exploited by the Download.Ject attacks in June. The patch is expected sometime next week, several weeks before the next scheduled batch release of security fixes."

The soon to be plugged exploits included the ability to steal passwords and personal data, and to install various forms of malware.

If I'm not mistaken, those things things have already been addressed 486,930 times.

    Are you sure?

I thought it was only 486,917 times...

But I might have lost track...

Yes, Microsoft have many times failed to fix the actual root of the compromise, rather just fixing disclosed ways of utilizing it.
