New to Techspot

Hey everyone, this is my first post here. I found your site after googling for a way to fix my internet problems (more on that later). I did the HJT file search to see if there was anything nasty that could be the problem but was not sure what i should be looking for and was wondering if someone could check mine out for me.

Hi Hughman

I noticed that you have quite a few automatic startup shortcuts (that start with Windows)
Some of them you probably know of (usually sitting on the tray down near the clock)
I'd say it would be in your best interest to reduce as many of these startup shortcuts as possible. There's an excellent tool H E R E to help with that (note, if you decide to untick the known not-required startups, you will need to restart to actually see the effect, you have made)

Regarding any Virus\Malware activity, please follow these steps (ideally do them all) You will certainly see a marked difference in your computer's performance too
