New to Xubuntu

  1. I have just installed Xubuntu on an old laptop, I am having sound problems that is no sound at all, through games,music or system sounds. I do however know that the sound drivers are there and the system is not muted

    Can Any one help me

    It is an integrated audio card on an intel system on an older gateway laptop. when I have the laptop in front of me I can give you the exact driver information
