  1. Hi, I just built my new rig(first time), but when i power on the system, I could only see that the lights/ fans are running, then it goes off in less then 1 sec...however the the system led is still on. If happens every time when I on/reset the power supply.

I'm really clueless now and need helps from you guys..

    This is the specs..
    Asus P5Q-Pro
Intel E8400 with Xigmatek Red Scorpion
    Enermax pro 82+ 525w
    Palit 4850 sonic
kingston 2GB ddr 6400 value ram
    Seagate harddisk
    LG Optical Drive

I have checked the connections(and I'm sure I have plugged in the 24pin and the 8pin power connectors) many times already but it still giving me the same response. Can some one advise me on how to do next? Thanks!!

You have not used the proper power connector to the motherboard near the CPU. Carefully recheck this connection. If the motherboard has an 8 pin connector, you may only have a 6 or 4 pin connector from the power supply that is the correct connector
