I have been having issues with nfs for the longest time. ok here's whats going on on different os's, same specs, let me break it down
Windows XP 64, q6600, 550 ti, 314.22 drivers, nfs hot pursuit 2010, GPU usage 99%, 1920x1080 max settings = 55-60 all the time.
Windows 7 64, q6600, 550 ti, 314.22 drivers, nfs hot pursuit 2010, GPU usage 35-40%, 1366x768, or 1400x900 max settings = 22-39fps all the time.
Windows 7 64, q6600, 550 ti, 314.22 drivers, nfs hot pursuit 2010, GPU usage 60-75%, 1920x1080 max settings = 41-52fps all the time.
Is this a CPU problem? I swear nfs is the only game I own and tested and play that struggles on windows 7 , but works flawless on windows XP at 1920x max. On win7 you see the frames did increase when I play at 1920 and it works great, but recording sucks. Pretty sure once I upgrade my q6600 to something better I wont have this issue, but why does it run so good in XP? also the gpu usage stuggles to get up to 60 or 70, but did slightly increase at 1920 in win7. just weird.
