This is too serious. It's better to believe Physical Map, not Online. But IS the military officer usually keep and accompany with the one who know the region ?

LOL. I can imagine this being the PERFECT excuse for other countries.

Israel: What the HELL are you doing over our line?
Iran: NO. What are YOU doing over OUR line?
Israel: My Map shows you're 10 ft. into our line!
    Iran: Google says differently sucka!
    Israel:...........................
    Iran:...........................

So you're saying that this invasion was on purpose?

So Google is responsable for a war, that was unexpected.

No, I think that Google is being framed for starting a war.

  7. So because there are more police to protect the population, the nicaraguan army can invade a foreign country? I believe they are trained differently though they surely can be labeled as thugs stealing what is not theirs. You pretty much show the kind of prepotence military all over the world have, not logical, specially if the official maps of the two countries show differently, and by the way Costa Rica won the diferendum on the rights of navigation in the San Juan river at the Hague court in case you did not know.

No, I think that Google is being framed for starting a war.

The whole, "The Google Maps were wrong" spiel sounds like plausible deniability.
    WTF is a diferendum?

i think everybody knew that these maps are 100% correct, especially in areas like that. But it would be for the best to at least make the borders correct.

I really hate to play the role of a grammar policeman, but the author of this article used the word apparently incorrectly. Apparently is used to classify that which seems to be but may not be. That map is most certainly erroneous. Ergo, apparently is not the appropriate word. The word evidently is used to classify that which seems to be and is.

Evidently is the more appropriate word, and it should be used in this case

I guess my wife was right..."big sweaty mens never stop for directions"

Then please don't. Leave that to Captaincranky.

    Well that's the question.

google maps: secretly conspiring to kill us all. either one at a time, like the guy who got directed off a cliff, or by starting wars.
  19. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE of the peaceful people of Costa Rica.
because they have no army. in any other country that would be*cause for war
