120 milions people had absolutely no other viable option for portable gaming and decided that even with limitations and bad customer support switch is better than a phone, and I agree with that. But now we have options and switch sales plummeting. So Nintendo will either address glaring issues with switch 2 or there will be no another 120 millions customers ever again. And rig ally is not a brick and offers even better performance, as for games, any game supporting a controller is designed for it. Same, as any switch game works on a big screen.

What universe do you live in? Nintendo just reported a great quarter and has been doing really well. They are on track to sell 14 million switch consoles this year. Being down 22% from the pandemic years doesnt indicate a failing product, just a return to market normalcy. At 129.3 million consoles, it has outsold the PS3/4. and the xbox 360/one generations.

Being down 22% from the pandemic years doesnt indicate a failing product, just a return to market normalcy. At 129.3 million consoles, it has outsold the PS3/4. and the xbox 360/one generations.

The Switch has a real chance of being the bestselling console of all time, it only needs 30M more lifetime sales. With Switch 2 rumored late 2024, it will almost definitely get another 10M - 15M sales before its successor releases. The question will be, can it sell another 15-20M units after Switch 2 releases. That depends on when Nintendo discontinues production and what kind of discount Nintendo sells it at. But, it certainly has a shot. The PS2 was produced for 13 years btw, it sold quite a significant amount after PS3 released to achieve the nearly 160M lifetime sales. Switch has outsold PS2 compared to PS2 sales at the same point in its lifecycle. So, technically Switch is already the best-selling console of all time.
