No bass

The output on my laptop has no bass what so ever. When I use the 3.5mm audio out connected to my sub it barely hits at all but, when I try any other audio device it shakes the walls. Is there an option somewhere that I may have changed without knowing it?

Try right-clicking the volume button in the taskbar, and select "playback devices." You can then select your output, and choose the "enhancements" tab. Make sure you do not have any equalizers set, as these could be messing up the output.

what laptop are you using? could just be a lousy sound processor...
