    Not a lot really...

its a good chance the HDD is knackered or its worked loose in its cradle.

if its possible remove and replace the HDD and see if it fixes it.

if not then its stuffed and needs replacing and reloading.

an I6000 takes a 2.5" IDE HDD and cost about £30 - £40 on ebay, your then going to need a copy of XP, if your machine has a licence key then you can borrow a disk from a friend or PC shop and use that to install XP

See if you can boot to the utility partition (F12 at boot). Run the diagnostics.
Can you see the HD in BIOS?

When the bios boots up (with the Dell logo/name) it should give you a keyboard letter to press for BIOS... It might be DEL on your model. Either way, it will tell you during the Dell logo on startup.

Head into there and check your hard drive to see if its showing.
