Hi, so everytime i turn my PC on i get a notification in the bottom of my screen with a "X" next to the time. I'm pretty sure i have Zonealarms firewall turned on. I followed the instructions on the "8 Step" thread.Also, i've noticed that my PC has started to run considerably slower, particualry at startup. Any help would be much appreciated.

PS-The 8 step thread doesnt mention avg/spybot/adaware anymore, would you advise me to remove those programs from my hard drive? Also, how do i read those logs.I'd like to be able to understand what they mean and sort out problems myself before bothering you guys =D
