No Front Panel Audio w/ X-Fi Titanium

  1. I recently installed my new X-Fi PCIe sound card but I have a problem. I connected the front panel audio (consisting of a mic and headphone jack) to the card's "Front Panel" pins via the audio cable that came with my case. The connector on the end reads "Audio" so I figured it was hooked up correctly. Anyways, there is audio output from the main ports, on the back of the card, but there is no front panel audio. I am hearing a little bit of static when I first connect the headset line to the jack on the front of my case but there's no sound. I'd really like to use the jacks in the front for my headset/mic so I don't have to plug it into the back. Any help would be appreciated!

I've looked in the Control Panel and the Creative consoles but I couldn't find anything that would "enable front panel" or anything like that...
