No MIDI PlayBack Device

  1. I updated my sons pc from windows xp pro too xp pro sp2 and now there is no sound.

    The Pc is a AMDAthlon (tm)XP2000+ 1.67ghz

    When i looked through device manager this is all i could find.

    No MIDI PlayBack Device
    The Drivers for this device are not installed.

    If i have to install audio drivers the prob is i don't know what ones to download and install.

    Thanks alot for any help.

    find the sound card you have, (which i would think windows would do for you) and get drivers for that.
