When i click on volume control it says 'no mixer devices' or something along those lines. I dont know what this means but my sound worked fine yesterday and I think I was getting those errors then also but now for some reason sound has stopped working altogether. I don't know what to do I don't know if I need to reinstall my sound card or what? I dont think I still have the disc. I got new speakers and they didnt come with a disc so Im really confused. What do i do? Im going crazy the only solution I can think of is buying a new computer but I cant really afford that. Please someone help me..........please!!!!!!!!.

Please put your System Specs in your Profile

If you have a proprietory computer like Dell; HP; Acer etc, please manually write this in the mobo field (ie Dell Dimension 3100 - as an example)

    Waiting for specs ...

Noted: System Specs now updated fully)

But your "3918" reported by System Specs (I suppose) is not very clear.

Please go to this post http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic100658.html
And update your Mobo field with Dell Model ModelNumber

You are trying to find the Sound drivers made for your Dell computer, and OS (Windows version ?) and then download and update them fully.

    Then test again
