Hi

I changed my case and psu, made it all very tidy, using lots of cable ties and when i powered up, no output was displayed on my monitor.

Specs:
Processor: P4 3gh 478 Chipset
CPU Cooler: Scythe Katana 2 CPU Cooler
RAM: 1GB Corsair
MOBO: ASRock P4i65G
Graphics: ATi Radeon Sapphire X1650 Pro AGP
PSU: Coolmaster 460
Monitor: Benq FP93GWa

Things i have tried:
Changing back to old PSU
Trying onboard graphics
Different Monitors Old Relisys 14" TFT
Different Graphics Card - ATi Radeon 9200
Using older MOBO - ASUS P4P800-E
Stripped it down to the bare, nothing but CPU and onboard graphics
Reset CMOS

Was previously dual booting XP/Ubuntu fine until i changed the case. Anyone got any ideas? Dont want to buy loads of new components, I just spent a lot getting upgrades for that dying system and getting a laptop.

Try getting a response with another monitor.

If that fails, remove the case from the equation. Either put your components back in the old case, or, try setting your motherboard on a non-conductive surface and attaching everything to it from outside the case.

If you can't get a response at that point, take things from there.

I ran it outside of the case and it worked! Thanks!

Just finished putting it back in the case and its working. Not sure why though. Strange, its been giving me a head ache for the past two days and that worked and its installing windows right now.

Once again. Thanks!
