No sound after OS reinstall

    Hello,

    I'm having the exact same problem as this person had:
    techspot.com/vb/topic137518.html

    Though their solution didn't work for me. I went into the BIOS and it said the audio was ON, so it didn't give me the option to reinstall the driver (if that's my problem.)

    Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide some help.

    What operating system do you have?

    What is the make and model of your computer? If Dell, please include the service tag no, to help pinpoint your exact configuration.
