No sound after restarting

go to computer\properties\Device manager\sound
check if your audio device is disable , and if it is enabled then try to reinstall the audio driver.
after that if nothing happen try to reset the bios .

No sound?

On your taskbar where the speaker icon is, right-click on it.
Look for the option 'Playback devices'.
Left click on it.
A new dialogue will appear on screen.
You should see a speaker icon in the list with a green tick on it.
If it does not show a green tick, right-click and choose 'enable'.

Hi pal i have recently came across a problem..I don't know if u might be experiencing it too..Go into services look or the Windows Audio service and make sure the startup is set too Automatic and that the service is running..If it's not select Start to startup the service..And if u restart and the same thing happens again then it's a hidden trojan dats causing it...Download a program called SuperAntiSpyware run a scan and try to remove it..then see if the audio service still get's disabled after u restart......It happened to me on one of my customers PC....sounds weird but it's true...Seems like that trojan hides behind the audio service process so dat antiviruses might not detect it.
