No sound after startup

    Hi, I have a Vaio Cr that has the annoying habit of randomly stopping any and all audio occasionally after I disconnect/reconnect it from the power supply. If I restart the computer it occasionally fixes it, otherwise it'll just play the startup noises and then nothing after the first 30 seconds or so. I tried updating my drivers, but the device manager said my sound drivers were up to date. The only thing that consistently fixes this problem is a system restore, but those get tedious to do and the problem eventually returns. Any suggestions?
