No sound with Intel AC'97

  1. I can't find a working sound driver for my computer. According to Everest Home I have an "Intel 82801EB ICH5 - AC'97 Audio Controller [A-2/A-3]". There's nothing under "Windows Audio".

    Intel has a LOT of drivers for AC'97, and RealTek is probably what you need otherwise. Search the Intel site for AC'97 drivers. They fix a wide variety of Intel units.

    find your device id, and search it here. there are toooo many drivers for ac97 audio. you will find one that will work.

    Just make a search for AC'97 Audio Drivers on Google and you will find a large varirty and you have only to choose the website and you will be able to download the latest one that will work...
