No USB mouses will recognize on my computer

  1. I was playing a game on my laptop when I lifted up my mouse and all of a sudden it stopped working. I tried uplugging and plugging it back in and it said "Install failed, device not recognized." I went to find another USB mouse, same problem. I tried the first mouse in a different computer, and it worked fine.

I have a Cyberpowerpc laptop, with windows 7, all windows updates. I don't know if a dxdiag report will help much in this situation but I uploaded it anyway. Please help!

Have you tried using a different USB port to connect the mouse?
