No VGA output problem

Hello there !

Here is my problem. When i power up my system, i only get a message saying no vga output. So i googled it and i got some answers. But i still need help.

My PC:
ASRock Z68 Extreme3 GEN 3
Intel Core i5 2500K 3,3GHz
Corsair 8GB (2x4096MB) CL8 1600Mhz VENGEANCE
Corsair TX 850W V2 80+ Bronze
Gigabyte Radeon HD6870 1024MB Windforce OC (2x)

I power up the whole system and all the fans go on. And the computer works when i don't have my graphic cards plugged in. I've tried to only use one graphic card and i've tried them in both slots on the motherboard. this i have done with both my cards. If i don't have the cards plugged in my computer works fine.

What should i try to do ? Is my motherboard broken ?

How do you know it works fine without the video cards?
