I have Vista Home Premium and an HP all-in-one psc that I've had for a long time. It works on my computer without any problems, but everytime I turn the computer on (from off, not from a sleep state) I get the windows installer box that says it is configuring the new hardware or something like that, with a little progress bar. After a few seconds, its done and that's it. Any ideas on how to stop it from doing this? It's not creating a problem I just don't think it's supposed to do it. My laptop did it too until I uninstalled all the hp software. I uninstalled and reinstalled all the hp software on my desktop and it didn't have that box pop up for a day or so but now its back.
