Non-wireless printer to network

I have a HP laserjet 1200 that I would like to plug into a wifi extender I have. The extender has one ethernet port. When using the printer with my computer I have a fire wire from the printer to usb on my laptop and can print that way. I was wondering if there is a way to connect the printer to the network so I can print without having to plug directly into my computer?
I was wondering if I can get a firewire to ethernet cable and be done but that seems to simple.

I don't know whether there's a cheap and easy solution but it looks like an HP Jetdirect 175x print server would do the job. I have an HP ethernet printer for home use but it has to be plugged into the router or a USB port on a computer..
